Where has the time gone??? It's been a wonderful 29 years of creating teddy bears, life-like birds and other animals! I am a self-taught artist that lives in the beautiful north east corner of New York State, with Lake Champlain on my east and the majestic Adirondack Mountains to my west. I am inspired daily by my surroundings, my family and friends. I love to experiment with color and materials!

"Flamingo"

20 inch

All my birds start with white mohair!! After I have their three dimensional shape they are hand painted to achieve the colors you see. This Flamingo stands on wire legs (quite the balancing act!) She has a wire armature that runs through her body, down to form her feet and up to her beak so she can gently bend her neck to tuck back under a wing. The flamingo has painted glass eyes.

***Shipping within the Continental US is included in prices listed. All other locations shipping and all handling fees will be billed in a separate invoice after I have received your address, so as to avoid over-charging for your shipping!! Items will be shipped Monday via FedEx, UPS or USPS Priority Mail (whichever is best suited for the piece), and will be insured. Custom fees are the responsibility of the buyer. To keep your costs low I ship items in the smallest box possible and use recycled materials such as bubble wrap or crumbled paper for padding, to reduce weight. This also keeps my business "green"!!
Refunds will be given if you are not completely happy with the item you purchased. You must contact me within 48 hours of receipt and ship the item back promptly in original packaging and in original, new condition. Refund less shipping expenses will be made once the item is received.
