Harvey is a fully jointed 14 inch Tissavel bear with ultrasuede paw pads. He has a pearl cotton hand stitched nose and mouth and glass eyes. Harvey has been hitting the sweets and has put on a few pounds, he's a hefty little guy filled with polyfil and glass for weight.

Chrysanthemum is stuffed with polyfil and weighted with a combination of steel pellets and glass. She has glass eyes and nose and mouth are handstitched with pearl cotton. Chrysanthemum petals surround her and crystal beads form the heart of the flower! Chrysanthemum is totally stitched by hand.

Her paw pads are made from upholstry fabric, and she is stuffed with a combination of polyfil and glass for weight. She wears a wool blend tunic, and has a wooden stir stick she has fashioned out of a piece of hardwood. The soups stones are set in epoxy resin in the cook pot suspended on wire hanger.

"Odd Times; Forged Friends"

One of a Kind

Have you ever found yourself living in what appears as a strange dream, good, bad or indifferent? Oh wait, we are living in the reality of strange times. This trio have forged a bonded friendship, that will last a lifetime, in what was considered a very strange day playing croquet. My hope is that we all find new friendships along the way.

The flamingo is made of mohair that has been airbrushed to give her all the lovely shades of pink. She stand 24 inches tall, has hand painted glass glass eyes, ultrasuede beak and stuffed with polyfil. A wire armature runs from her beak to her rear and down through her webbed feet.

Alice is also made from mohair with ultrasuede paw pads. She is 5 way jointed, has glass eyes, pearl cotton nose and mouth. She stands 12 inches tall. Alice has wire armature in her arms and legs (all the better to hang on through the rough terrain!) She is stuffed with a combination of polyfil and glass.

Then there is this sweet innocent hedgehog, made of mohair, has glass eyes, pearl cotton nose and mouth. He is stuffed with a combination of polyfil and glass.

A twisted Rip Van Winkle story!

Rip had a "disagreement" with his wife and was banned from the house. No one heard from him for over 20 years. Now we find out that he drained his bank accounts and purchased 1000 shares at $18/share of an IPO in Amazon.com in 1997. After 3 stock splits (2-1,3-1,2-1) he now owns 12,000 shares...... almost 23 years later at current value...well.... let's just say he can continue to rest under that apple tree!!

Rip is a mohair fully jointed bear with glass eyes, pearl cotton nose and mouth. He is joined by his trusted friend (also made from mohair.) Rip is 5 way jointed and his arms and legs are wired for posing. His trusty side kick "Wolf" is also made from mohair, has glass eyes, pearl cotton nose and mouth. Wolf is not jointed, but has wired legs and tail for posing.

Cindy Where has the time gone??? It's been a wonderful 25 years of creating teddy bears and life-like birds! I am a self-taught artist that lives in the beautiful north east corner of New York State, with Lake Champlain on my east and the majestic Adirondack Mountains to my west. I am inspired daily by my surroundings, and my family and friends. I love to experiment with color and materials!

Payment by PayPal preferred. It's the safest, fastest easiest way to pay for you items and you don't have to have a PayPal account to pay! To arrange for an alternative payment option please email me at cindy@myappletree.com I will be in touch asap.

***Shipping within the Continental US is included in prices listed. All other locations shipping fees will be billed in a separate invoice after I have received your address, so as to avoid over-charging for your shipping!! Items will be shipped Monday via FedEx, UPS or USPS Priority Mail (whichever is best suited for the piece), and will be insured. Custom fees are the responsibility of the buyer. To keep your costs low I ship items in the smallest box possible and use recycled materials such as bubble wrap or crumbled paper for padding, to reduce weight. This also keeps my business "green"!!
Refunds will be given if you are not completely happy with the item you purchased. You must contact me within 48 hours of receipt and ship the item back promptly in original packaging and in original, new condition. Refund less shipping expenses will be made once the item is received.
